2021 Christmas Wishlist by Raymond Wargo
Overview
Prodigy Disc M4
It'll be hard to topple my EMAC Truths from their spot in the bag, but I do have a regular Truth that isn't up to snuff for me right now. For my stable to understable spot, I still want to look around some more, and these M4s from Prodigy seem like a great place to start. Not only does it appear to be the slightly flippy mid I'm looking for, but I also love the Leiviska stamps. This is an easy one to pencil in for my Wishlist this year.
Dynamic Discs EMAC Truth
Naturally making any of my "Best Of" lists, I'll have to include the EMAC Truth. I've always had one in the bag because true to its name, I can trust it on any line I want to put on it. The first choice to hit a gap, land a touchy upshot, or shape a winding fairway, I've always found a use for my Truths. The Fuzion-X looks incredible and would compliment the Lucid plastic in my bag well.
Prodigy Disc A2
If you haven't figured it out yet, I've yet to throw a lot of Prodigy plastic. Similar to my midrange predicament, some of my approach putters might need a little more filtering. Looking to branch out across brands, I'm very excited to try anything out of Prodigy's approach line-up, though I imagine I'll personally lean towards the beadless side of things in the A2. There's only one way to find out: they all make the list!
Dynamic Discs Raider
I don't know about you, but when I first started playing, Innova was the first brand to spring to mind. Naturally, one of the first distance drivers I got was a Destroyer. The problem is that nothing has thrown like that one since - even other Destroyers. Now, my hope lies with the Raider from Dynamic Discs. Touted as similar to the Destroyer, I'd love to see if I may have finally found the mold to give me the same feel over and over again. I'm adding it to my Wishlist to try and get my overstab
Latitude 64 Rive
Similar to my situation with the Raider, I'd love to pull on a Rive and see how it stacks up with the lot of overstable distance drivers. Beyond its possible competition for distance in my bag, I'm also very excited to feel the Royal Grand plastic from Latitude 64. How a disc feels plays a big part in its usage for me, and I have high hopes for this line. Making my list for its plastic, but it could end up getting the edge over some molds in my bag.
Westside Discs Boatman
Okay, guilty, Halloween has come and gone, but I like scary stuff year-round. Sue me. Surely I'm not alone, and thankfully Rogue still has some wonderfully wicked Boatmen from Westside. I'd certainly like to see if they earn the stable to overstable spot amongst the drivers in my bag. Snag your scary stamps soon!
Axiom Envy
This one was a no-brainer. Commemorating The Holy Shot, in the plastic James Conrad did the unthinkable with? Me, in my backyard, throwing annys for hours with a nonexistent crowd going crazy? Enough said. This one makes the list twice if it could. Get yours quick because the special editions are going fast.
DGA Steady BL
"Steady" Ed Headrick, "known for his steady hand and putting prowess," as honored by this putter from DGA. I already like beadless putters with a bit of extra stability to them, but remembering the father of disc golf makes this addition to my list even more obvious. Coming in the truly icy Ice Blend, this putter has the perfect doses of function and fashion, which is all I can ever wish for in my bag.
