Overview

Paul McBeth has been a man on a mission since switching his main sponsorship to Discraft two years ago. He won a World Championship in 2019, signed the most lucrative contract in disc golf history worth $10 million over 10 years, started the Paul McBeth Foundation, and released multiple signature discs through Discraft. He has done extensive research with Discraft to release discs that suit his game. As a result, McBeth has had many discs in and out of his bag. Here's what you'll find in Paul's bag.

Discraft Luna

The Luna is a beadless, neutral-flying putter co-designed by Paul McBeth, which serves as his primary putter. It’s great for heavily wooded and open-style courses with its low glide making it great for those who putt with confidence.

Discraft Zone

The Zone is Paul McBeth’s go-to approach disc. While technically a putter, the Zone is a dependable overstable thrower that is great for advanced players. The thickness of the rim makes it very comfortable in the hand. The Zone is also highly dependable in headwinds due to its overstability.

Discraft Buzzz

Quite possibly the perfect midrange disc. The Buzzz is a straight flyer with a predictable gentle fade at the end of flight. It is a straight flyer when thrown flat and will hold a variety of lines when thrown at different angles. The Buzzz is one of the all-time best-selling discs. Great for all players.

Discraft Wasp

The Wasp is an overstable midrange built to withstand windy conditions and hyzer finishes. It has consistent flight patterns within the 250 to 300-foot range.

Discraft Drone

The Drone is not like its stable cousin the Buzzz, but is actually one of the most overstable midrange discs on the market. Discraft gives the drone a stability rating of 2.5, making it a good midrange choice for advanced players and strategic hyzer throws. This is a disc that isn’t going to turn over in a headwind.

Discraft Undertaker

The Undertaker is a moderately overstable driver that’s built to take on headwinds when necessary. It has a small bit of turn but finishes with a reliable fade.

Discraft Heat

The Heat debuted as the 2014 Ace Race proto and quickly caught fire with players for its control, glide, and distance at slower arm speeds. It has a smaller rim for easier grip and is being hailed as a breakthrough in delivering improved distance for new and developing players.

Discraft Zeus

This Paul McBeth signature disc is similar to the popular Innova Destroyer in flight and feel. The Zeus is a go-to driver for power throwers looking for max distance and consistency. The Zeus has a fairly wide rim with a 2.3 cm wing length. This is an excellent disc for both forehand and backhand throws for players who can handle the stability. The Zeus is currently available in Discraft’s Swirly ESP plastic.

Discraft Force

The Force is a high-speed overstable driver meant for big arms to have predictable fade at the end of flight. The Force is Discraft’s fastest flying overstable driver. This is a highly torque-resistant disc that is similar to Innova’s Destroyer. Beginners beware! This is an advanced disc due to its overstability.

Discraft Predator

The Predator is our most predictable overstable driver. It holds a line in the wind or turns a hyzer corner at medium speed. Very fast and consistent. Check a top pro’s bag, and chances are good you’ll find a Pred!
